Sometimes I wonder.. perhaps you do too. Do we really make the decisions in our lives or has the events and decisions we make day to day been destined to be that way, what do we call it? fate? destiny?. Do we shape our own destiny? Or do we simply follow the path that has been laid for us?
Someone said.."I'm a passer-by but I'll find a place to stay when I find my place in this world".... Is this true? Is this the case? Do we really have a place in this world? If our path has been made for us, if we have no choice but to go by this road, then that young boy sleeping in the streets, was he destined to sleep in the streets? Is it that beggar's fate to be poor? But if we shape our destiny with our own hands... then how come that bully of a father gave birth to that innocent boy he's always mal-treating? How come he never met his mother? Has something good ever happened to you even though you know you really do not deserve it? was that just meant to happen? Have you ever done something to someone and it changed their life forever? Did you shape their destiny?
Now, is there something like fate? If there's is can we shape it? Or do we just stand aside and let it play out?.. Do we decide how our lives will be? Do we even own our life.
