NCC FINES MTN NIGERIA 1.04TRN NAIRA

 MTN Nigeria was fined 1.04trn naira ($5.2bn) for failing to deactivate unregistered SIM(s). They moved the accusation to mbile phone users by saying that the operator renders poor services to their subscribers.
        MTN being one of the largest providers in Nigeria, If not the largest. According to BBCNEWS, A senior official of the company told bbc it was in talks with the regulator over the fine and hoped it would be resolved.
