ll you need to know about Mark Zuckerberg’s IIT Delhi Townhall




Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is set to address the students of Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. Zuckerberg will be hosting a Townhall at the Delhi IIT today at 12.00 pm IST. Zuckerberg came to India and yesterday visited the stunning monument Taj Mahal in Agra yesterday. Zuckerberg will be addressing the IIT Delhi students, it is said that only one in nine students of the Delhi IIT will be getting an opportunity to attend the Townhall today.

Zuckerberg will not be taking direct questions from the students, but will be addressing those questions posted to the CEO by the students in advance. The live streaming of Mark Zuckerberg’s Townhall meet at Delhi IIT will be available here as soon as the Question and Answer session event starts.

In the 15 minute Q & A session, Zuckerberg is expected to also share about Internet.org, an initiative which is aimed to provide internet facility at low valuation and to further make sure that the internet penetration is thorough in every place. The initiation is a way to position internet accessibility in non penetrative communities. People in India are looking forward to the Townhall session with Mark Zuckerberg today at the Delhi IIT.
In a similar incident Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took part in a Facebook Townhall event at the Facebook Headquarters in September. In the event the two personalities engaged in an active discussion about how India could possibly come up with a better economical platform for communication. Modi and Zuckerberg discussed about how both the communities can come together to form a better social and economic bond.
