5SOS Michael Clifford falls off stage at Radio 1 Teen Awards
Michael Clifford from 5 Seconds of Summer is on crutches after falling off stage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards.
He's reassured fans that he is "all good" following the accident which saw him drop through a hole.
His fall happened towards the end of the band's set at the SSE Wembley Arena in London.
"There's a big hole in the middle of the stage and Michael was unaware of the hole," bandmate Ashton Irwin told Newsbeat.
"We hadn't actually been on the stage, we hadn't sound checked today. We just kind of went out there.
"The thing is with radio shows, I mean the stages are always different. They always do some crazy stuff with the stage shape. They just never have a regular stage."
He was looked after by the backstage medical team, having carried on with his performance.
"So many people have fallen off stage, he's lucky it didn't turn out like The Edge from U2," said Ashton.
The U2 guitarist had to be helped up by security guards after falling off stage in Canada earlier this year.
"I wouldn't have minded if he'd broken his leg, I could do with some time off," said Calum Hood.
The band had to pull out of last year's Teen Awards because Ashton's appendix burst.
He apologised for letting fans down, saying he didn't "feel like his bowels" could make it on the plane journey to the UK from Sydney, Australia.
